Chinese New Year Year 2019 Year of the Pig
With the coming of Chinese New Year, all the bus companies in Hong Kong have adorned some of their vehicles in an attractive livery to celebrate.
Kowloon Motor Bus and Long Win Bus, sister companies, have both adorned one vehicle each; with KMB choosing a Volvo B9TL 12m (TH1110) and LWB choosing an ADL Enviro500 Facelift 12.8m (VE573) variation. Though both bus liveries are simplistic, their minimalist designs are rather attractive and dare I say it, cute. I was rather lucky in that, on the day I returned from Japan to Hong Kong, I just so happened to bump into LWB VE573 on route A36.

The day after I return to Japan, I just so happened to capture the Year of the Pig bus again, this time, running on the slower airport route E34B, unfortunately, my camera was in my bag, which i did not have time to pull out, so I could only snap it with my phone.
KMB Volvo B9TL TH1110 normally operates on Hung Hom Cross-Harbour routes; the vehicle also spends most of it's time wearing full-body liveries.
